The TYC Planning Team, which is made up of a different group of high school youth and college-age young adult volunteers each year and which is selected from a pool of current TYC participant applicants, plans the entire conference - from the theme to the workshop topics. These same amazing young people recruit the adult leadership, coordinate the scheduled activities, and assume various leadership roles during the event, working side-by-side with the adult staff. These are some TREMENDOUS people and they are going places! Most TYC Planning Team youth serve a two-year term, though there are some serving 1-year terms. Planning Team members are afforded what amounts to a 50% discount on their registration fees over the duration of their term.
